[Emmet is 100 percent thinking it will be focused on Ingo.]

I was thinking on our Birthday, to get as many of Ingo's friends as I can over and we have a party with a lot of food he may like and used to like. But I have never thrown a surprise party before, yup!

But I don't know all of Ingo's friends, and a lot of the food he seems to like now seems to be a lot like the Konbini foods. So I need help getting the food and people and stuff and was wondering if you wanted to help out.

Think I can handle that. [Hm. Okay. That means asking around Ingo's workplaces, at minimum, to see who he spends the most time with...plus asking around about Johtonian food, and any tastes he's acquired since coming here. (Besides that.) And other than that...]

When is your birthday?

May 22, I figure a month should be enough time to gather everything. And by then the monthly People's Temperfit should be over.

Nope, not at all. I figured this will be the only chance I have to throw a surprise birthday party for Ingo with him not even suspecting it.

[Emmet seems very excited at the idea.]

[....Hup. Crossing back over to the desk to grab a pen and notebook.] Food should be simple. Food, and invitations. [Opens that up, jots some things down.] Who do you already know to invite?

Sparkling, Maya, Basil, Bruno...

[Emmet started to tick off names on his fingers.]

Leo, Tsukikage, Peter, Adrian, Beat...

[Emmet listed off more people easily. Emmet has happily sat through many excited ramblings about Ingo's friends.]

Max, Muruko, White Lily Cookie.

[A beat.]

And Taako and Lup, 100 percent! Horatio, he went into the dreaded mall for Ingo!

That is just off the top of my head, Ingo is verrry popular.

You think I could add to this? [SKEPTICAL.] Besides asking at his work, I guess.

There is a chance I might have missed someone because I did forget about people at his work.

That's the only idea I have. [Still visibly Thinking over this list.] I think I can handle food, though. I know a good few Kantonians who cook. Some of these people I've never met and you'll have to handle inviting them. When should we start...tail end of the next fog, maybe?

But then what can I do? Because I want to get a cake that is suited more for Ingo's tastebuds now, but I also wanted to get the cake we always get.

Sparkling Cookie. He's good at cakes, and he knows Ingo. I thought I'd take him some Oran Berries and see what he can do with them. We could commission him for more than one.

But isn't it considered tacky to ask a guest to do something like that?

[Emmet thinks he remembers someone saying that once!]

[Shrugs??] Not if you pay them the same as if they weren't. [Or maybe it is but frankly this is something his mother would care about so he Won't.] If he turns us down, there are other options.
